KidZone

Welcome to KidZone

We’ve designed this room to be friendly for children!  It’s safe, fun and full of opportunity!  Sunday service, seasonal programs and special events for elementary aged children all start in this room.  However, we do not intend to “hide” children away in this corner.  Our desire is that this faith community would be multi-aged worshipping and serving together.

The KidZone is staffed by a variety of ages in our faith community.  Through the programs in the KidZone, we desire to partner with parents in providing a caring and nurturing environment through which faith in God is explored.  We endeavor to make the stories of God come alive through a variety of sensory activities encouraging faith in the power and love of God who created each of us.

A registrar will meet you at the door to check your child into KidZone and get contact information from you.   A colored, numbered bucket is available for your child for their shoes and other belongings.  Many different faith community members assist the directors during our KidZone service.  If you would like to volunteer, contact Karla Slonaker at 669-6179.

Family Communion Sunday

The first Sunday of each month is designated as a Family Communion Service.  Our faith community believes that celebrating the Lord’s gift of life, represented by the bread (His broken body) and juice (His shed blood), is available for all ages.  Please determine your child’s readiness to participate.

The KidZone will be closed on this first Sunday.  Please worship together as a family in the auditorium.  Kidz Bulletin packets are available from any usher.
